Dried Peppers

Our dried peppers are now available! We collect our final loads of the season and dehydrate them to make our popular dried pepper varieties. Cayenne, Anaheim Chili and Trinidad Scorpion peppers are back. We have also added Thai, Thairano, Ghost and Carolina Reaper options for this year. Read about each variety below. Look for Habanero, Devil's Tongue, Green Chili mixes and a 3 Kings mix (Ghost/Scorpion/Reaper) to be available soon.

The peppers come in a vacuum-sealed bag and can last six months if stored properly. We recommend storing them in an airtight container such as a canning jar once the bag is opened to help them stay dry and crisp for longer.

To purchase, contact us or visit our Ebay Store. We offer pick-up from the farm and shipping options. We can ship to anywhere in the U.S. Price depends on customer location. Payment can be made in cash, or through PayPal or Zelle.

We sold out last year so don't wait to make your order! Visit the Dried/Canned page for more info.

Anaheim Chili Peppers - 2 ounces - $4
                                          4 ounces - $7
Dried mix of red and green Anaheim Chili peppers. This is our mildest offering as far as heat goes. No pesticides or chemicals were used on these peppers during any stage of the growing or packaging process. Perfect for making your own red pepper flakes. The two ounce bag contains about 8-12 large peppers.

Carolina Reaper Peppers - 1 ounce - $11
                                              2 ounces - $19
The hottest pepper in the world is here at Sweetwater Farms! We began growing the Carolina Reaper this year and can attest to the fact that they are truly the hottest peppers around! Reapers can reach 2,200,000 Scoville units of heat, which is 200 times hotter than a Jalapeno! Drying brings out the flavor that otherwise goes unnoticed beneath all the heat. Use their flavor and heat to bring your favorite recipes up a notch. Discard the seeds to take a little of the edge off the heat. The two ounce bag contains 70-80 peppers.

Cayenne Peppers - 2 ounces - $4
                                 4 ounces - $7
Dried mix of two types of Cayennes for size and flavor variety. Both are similar in heat. Also great for making red pepper flakes. No pesticides or chemicals were used on these peppers during any stage of the growing or packaging process.

Ghost Peppers (Bhut Jolokia) - 1 ounce - $6
                                                      2 ounces - $11
Dried bag of red ghost peppers for those that like it hot! Drying the peppers brings out more of the citrus flavor that comes from their Habanero background and also concentrates the heat. Discard the seeds to cool them down a bit. The two ounce bag contains 50-60 peppers.

Thai Peppers - 2 ounces - $4
                          4 ounces - $7
Thai peppers bring the flavor and the heat! Rating around 100,000 Scoville units of heat, Thai peppers are hotter than Cayennes, but bring more of the sweet flavor that is brought out during the dehydrating process. These peppers are our farm favorite for the flavor-heat combo. Great for adding to soups or Asian dishes. Two ounces is 80-90 peppers

Thairano Peppers (Thai-Serrano Hybrid) - 2 ounces - $4
                                                                       4 ounces - $7
Hybrid pepper that packs the flavor of both the Serrano and Thai! This pepper is very unique and new to the farm. The Thairano peppers come in two different shapes, either short and round, or long and thinner like a Cayenne. These bags contain a mix of both shapes. The heat is mild compared to our other offerings. The two ounce bag contains 40-50 peppers.

Trinidad Scorpion Peppers - 1 ounce - $11
                                                 2 ounce - $19
Dried bag of the second hottest peppers in the world. Our Scorpions are a mix of the Moruga and Butch T varieties. Drying the peppers brings out their citrus flavor that is usually hidden behind the fire. Discard the seeds to reduce the heat. The two ounce bag contains 70-80 peppers.
