Jams/Jellies/Sauces

Our Farm Fresh Jams, Jellies and Sauces have been a hit within our group of family and friends for several years. In 2018, we began making them available to everyone. We were shocked at the positive response we got and quickly sold out of most varieties! We took them online, but a recent dip in sales and several years of difficulty finiding affordable, quality canning supplies has led us to go back to only offering our canned goods by request. We believe in using only the highest quality ingredents, which is why we grown our own. Nearly all the options are made from our own produce, grown right here on Sweetwater Farms!

***Jams/Jellies and Sauces are made by request only! A full batch will be required to make an order.***

All varieties can be made into 4oz, 8oz, 16oz or 32oz jar sizes. We make the jams, jellies and sauces ourselves, and can them in our own kitchen to ensure the best quality possible.

A description of each type we are able to make is posted below. Message us to order your own batch. We can ship them to anywhere in the continental U.S. Most of the jams, jellies and sauces have the best flavor when eaten within six months of the canning date, but will last for one year from the canning date if stored properly. A few varieties can last longer. After opening, they should be refrigerated and are best if eaten within one month. With their delicious taste, we doubt that will be a problem!

We accept CASH only for onsite sales. Pre-payment can be made online before pickup using Venmo, PayPal or Zelle

Varieties:

Carolina Reaper Pepper Jelly

This one is for the hottest of the hotheads out there! This takes our popular Ghost Pepper Jelly up a notch with the current hottest pepper in the world. We really tried to reduce the heat of this to keep it edible and it brought out the taste of the Carolina Reaper that is often hidden amongst the flames. We mix in the sweetest peppers we grow here on the farm to compliment the flavor of the Reaper. All peppers used in this jelly were grown right here on Sweetwater Farms. Don't fear the reaper, eat him! Can only be made when fresh peppers are in stock, mainly in summer and fall.
Ingredients: Carolina Reaper Peppers, Carmen Peppers, Escamillo Peppers, Lunchbox Peppers, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Fruit Pectin.

Dandelion Jelly

Think dandelions are just weeds? Think again! Dandelions are quite tasty and packed with nutrition. Dandelions contain high amounts of potassium and have been used to treat arthritis, eczema and digestive disorders. The flowers have a slight sweetness to them and provide the jelly with a beautiful golden color. The jelly is made from dandelions grown organically on our farm with no chemicals used on them at any time. While most people spray and kill their dandelions, we harvest ours! Try some today and we think you will be pleasantly surprised how good dandelions can be. Can only be made in sping when Dandelions are blooming.
Ingredients: Sugar, Dandelion Flower-Infused Water, Fruit Pectin, Lemon Juice.

Datil Pepper Hot Sauce

A friend from Florida turned us onto Datil Peppers and their tasty sauce last year. The Datil is a lesser-known pepper, grown primarily in northern Florida. It might fly under the radar, but this little gem brings a unique flavor and smooth heat. The sauce has a smoky flavor with a moderate amount of heat. It is delicious on all sorts of meats, sandwiches and as a dipping sauce. We think it compliments nearly all Hispanic dishes. Can only be made when fresh Datil peppers are in stock, mainly in late summer and fall.
Ingredients: Datil Peppers, Apple Cider Vinegar, Garlic, Ketchup.

Dragon's Toe Pepper Jam/Relish

Dragon's Toe Jam is as fun to eat as it is to say! This jam is almost as much of a relish sauce as it is a jam. It brings a sweet & spicy mix in a chunky sauce consistency. Made entirely from peppers grown right here on our farm, we use the mildly spicy Dragon's Toe peppers for a slight kick that meets head-on with the sweet punch of ripe Escamillo and Lunchbox peppers. Goes great on meats, but works on other things too like bread. This jam is on the thin side at room temperature, but will thicken when refrigerated. We designed it to be refrigerated as it tastes even better when cold! Can only be made when fresh peppers are in stock, mainly in summer and fall.
Ingredients: Dragons, Toe Peppers, Escamillo Peppers, Lunchbox Peppers, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Kosher Salt, Fruit Pectin.

Ghost Pepper Jelly

Ghost is for those looking for more heat with their sweet! The heat is strong, but not completely overwhelming like some Ghost jellies. We think it is a great mix of strong heat with tasty sweet. It is a lot hotter than our popular Pineapple-Mango Habanero Jam. All peppers used in this jelly were grown right here on Sweetwater Farms! We start with traditional Red Ghost Peppers, then add the tasty Peach Ghost. The Peach packs more citrus, fruity flavor with nearly identical heat as the Red, which really brings a good taste to the mix without sacrificing heat. More sweet flavor is added through ripened Carmen and Escamillo sweet fryer peppers, with a touch of Golden California Wonder Bell Peppers. If you like it hot, give this one a try! Can only be made when fresh peppers are in stock, mainly in summer and fall.
Ingredients: Red and Peach Ghost Peppers, Carmen Peppers, Escamillo Peppers, Golden California Wonder Bell Peppers, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Fruit Pectin.

Honeysuckle Jelly

Honeysuckle jelly is made from sweet-smelling Honeysuckle blossoms. We use only the white blooms which are the freshest and sweetest blooms on the vine. Definitely our sweetest offering to date! It tastes a lot like honey! This plant was definitely named correctly. If you have always loved the way honeysuckles smell, you will love the taste of this jelly! Can only be made in summer months when Honeysuckles are in bloom.
Ingredients: Honeysuckle Blossom Infused Water, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Fruit Pectin.

Mint Jelly

Our latest addition features a strong mint flavor made from Mint grown right here on our farm! It is natural and fully organic. The Spearmint taste is great for all the mint lovers out there, not to mention the beautiful green color and smooth consistency.
Ingredients: Mint Infused Water, Sugar, Butter, Fruit Pectin, 2 drops Food Coloring.

Pineapple-Mango Habanero Jam

A citrus jam with a dash of heat. The Pineapple and Mango flavors fit perfectly with the citrus flavor of the Habanero that is brought out during cooking. This jam is perfect for those that like a combo of sweet and spice, but don't want too much spice. The heat is very minimal in this jam, but the flavor is stout! Made from our own Habaneros grown right here on the farm! Can only be made when fresh peppers are in stock, mainly in summer and fall.
Ingredients: Pineapple, Mango, Habanero Peppers, Sugar, Apple Cider Vinegar, Fruit Pectin.

Strawberry Jam

Our traditional strawberry jam made from locally grown strawberries from Slate Farms in Clarksville, TN. Can only be made in April, May and June.
Ingredients: Strawberries, Sugar, Fruit Pectin.

Violet Jelly

Beautiful and tasty purple jelly made from violet flowers. Violet petal-infused water gives the jelly it's color and a slight sweet taste. The violets were grown organically on our farm with no chemicals used on them at any time. Violets pack many health benefits including reducing cold symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fever. Violets are also known to reduce inflammation, decrease acne, clear urinary tract infections, reduce headaches and help ulcers heal. Can only be made in March and April.
Ingredients: Violet Petal-Infused Water, Fruit Pectin, Lemon Juice, Sugar.

*All jams, jellies and sauces are produced in accordance with Tennessee Cottage Laws. They are processed outside of a USDA-inspected commercial kitchen. In fact, they come from our very own family kitchen.
